Laura McAlister has written another article on the appearent interest in the Edgewood business district. There is one small error, the article states, 'Under zoning requirements in Edgewood, multi-use buildings must be at least two stories. There is no maximum height." Actually, there is a 2 story limit with no restriction on height. You can read the article here on this site or in the online version of the birmingham news at al.com.
Homewood has been attracting attention: the Birmingham News on Aug. 11, and the Birmingham Business Journal on July 14. Important questions are being asked, and it is the people of Homewood who can provide the answers.
